What this means in practice

The booking buttons and date boxes you see on the pages link to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. If you book after clicking, GetYourGuide shares a portion of its commission with us. You pay exactly what you would if you went to GetYourGuide directly—our link doesn’t add anything to the total or take anything away from the operator.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn’t. We compare excursions based on rating, number of reviews, duration, departure point, and what’s included, and we’re upfront even when the results aren’t flattering—that a heavily booked tour averages 4.1, that another has a stellar rating from just a few hundred reviews, or that entry to the Blue Grotto is never included in the boat tour ticket. What we don’t do

How we work: we don’t sell tickets, handle payments or manage bookings. We never publish reviews written by us and pass them off as travellers’ opinions. The quotes you see on our pages are taken from reviews published on GetYourGuide and translated into Italian. And we never accept payment from an operator to rank higher in a comparison.
