Capri Boat Tour is an independent guide to boat trips around Capri. We compare each excursion one by one — duration, departure point, what’s included, what the reviews say — so you can book the right one for your day. We’re not a tour operator and don’t sell tickets.
What we do
We read through the details of the boat trips available on Capri and around the gulf, sift through traveller reviews, and write up what we find—including the less convenient bits: that entry to the Blue Grotto is always an extra charge, that the grotto stays closed when the sea is rough, and that a ninety-minute cruise isn’t the same as a full-day excursion. The distinction we care about most
If you’re already on Capri, you don’t need a tour that departs from Sorrento, and if you’re staying in Sorrento, there’s no point taking the ferry only to hunt for a boat in Marina Grande. These are two different experiences that constantly get mixed up, which is why half this site is dedicated to keeping them separate: departures from the mainland on one side, island-based trips on the other.
